Legacy West Midlands trails are:

Roots, Rights and Resistance: Join us on this historical walking trail where we uncover the history of protest in Handsworth dating back to the 18th century.

Irish Roots of Handsworth: Join us on this historical walking trail as we celebrate the contributions of the Irish community in Birmingham. Starting at Soho House, we will trace the footsteps of the Irish presence in Handsworth, culminating in a tour of the beautiful St Marys Convent, home to the Sisters of Mercy – a Religious Congregation of women founded in Dublin.

Taste of Handsworth Tour: Join us on this historical walking trail as we learn about Handsworths fascinating food history! The walk combines the Georgian history of the area with that of the present day communities, and you get to sample Ethiopian coffee, Caribbean cakes, and South Asian cuisine along the way.
